2025 welcomes a new small-scale farm, Farmarie, a first-generation family farm in Norton, Massachusetts. Farmer Chris Goncalves is an engineer by degree but a farmer at heart. He has been growing his own food on a small quarter acre lot and inside his home for more than three years. Farmer Cynthia is a business manager and has been growing microgreens and oyster mushrooms for two years. With a passion for growing and learning, the mother and son team decided a former horse farm in Norton, Massachusetts would be the perfect spot to start a family farm because every farm has to have a beginning but not an end.
At Farmarie, our mission is to promote sustainable farming practices that benefit both the environment and our community. We believe in growing fresh, organic produce while supporting local farmers and reducing our carbon footprint.
